Italian mechatronics students visit Lakeside

on June 26th 40 mechatronics students from ITS Malignani, Udine, got a deep insight into the carinithian ecosystem of research, education and enterprises in the fields of ICT and mechatronics within the project »Entrepreneurial Eco-System Alpe Adria«, Program Interreg V-A Italy-Austria, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The rich campus of Lakeside Park was of great interest for the particiants where they were welcomed for an introduction to the day's program. The robotic institute of JOANNEUM RESEARCH opened their doors and presented their research and work surroundings. Guest professeor Cristian Secchi from DISMI - University of Modena and Reggio Emilia added his keynote on advanced control of interaction.

After this intense morning the students continued to the location of Villach where they were embraced by the international research enterprise Lamresearch with stunning state of the art waver production.

The day was rounded up with a short overview on study possibilities at the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences.
