Product Manager | 40 hours | Klagenfurt, Austria

If you are additionally able to organize the work in a well-structure manner and to identify and manage risks appropriately, then you fit very well into our team. The ideal candidate is an analytical and technical team player who will be responsible products and projects collaborating with a team of high performing individuals, this team own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.  

This position is on the Product Manager Career Path. The PM Career is meant to provide an attractive career opportunity for employees who focus on managing products and projects and functional leadership of project team members. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage product development projects including planning, reporting and documentation 
  • Align and coordinate project requirements in a European distributed team 
  • Work with product development teams, being in charge of the clear presentation of the targets, distribution of work packages and of the team motivation and focus 
  • Organize task with the team and meeting structure to ensure a fluent and constructive communication between team members and with the project stake holders 
  • Manage the project risks and lead the team in problem solving situations 
  • Apply your solid functional knowledge to moderate the discussions of technical experts to make the best decisions for the project 
  • Be responsible for the project success and the tracking of the targets 
  • Create business models and analyze competitive landscape 
  • Investigate and find market possibilities and business opportunities 
  • Develop and monitor data-driven analytics 
  • Follow products in every stage of the path: from development to after sale 
  • Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4+ years of experience in the field of telecommunications in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting; it is important to have solid knowledge about mobile devices, internet and network devices. (preferred) 
  • 2+ years work experience in telco sector 
  • Leadership skills and flexibility to deal with changes during the project: First experience in leading teams in technical activities, ideally including systematic problem solving 
  • Proven good and structured documentation skills 
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills in English 
  • Good written, verbal and collaboration skills in German (preferred) 
  • Good written, verbal and collaboration skills in Italian (preferred)
