Commercial Controller (m|f)

The ENcome group is a pan-European leading and independent service provider for the technical Operation and Maintenance of photovoltaic power plants and has many years of experience in the engineering of photovoltaic power plants.  We are operating in all major European markets and Australia. Highly qualified employees as well as our own monitoring system ensure the optimal yield of every power plant in any network environment. At the earliest date possible we are looking for a Commercial Controller (m/f/n)  
 

  • Regular and recurrent analysis of single contracts and contract portfolios regarding compliance with pre-defined KPIs and profitability indicators, particularly quarterly gross margin and EBITDA analysis in close collaboration with Commercial Contract Manager
  • Sparring partner for group management in relation to both commercial and financial contractual matters with a particular focus on cost efficiencies and improvement measures to evaluate profitability from single contract to overall key account, and performance of Key Account Management
  • Evaluation and tracking of remedial actions to improve overall contract profitability in close collaboration with country operations managers including support of New Business Committee approval processes  
  • Project management and coordination in respect of interdisciplinary/cross-functional projects and tasks incl. development, implementation and tracking of optimized/newly introduced business processes on an international scale
  • Support further development of risk management tools and measures in close collaboration with Finance & Controlling incl. quarterly analysis of underlying data and preparation of management reporting purposes 
  • Provide & maintain tools to accurately calculate offers for different products & services incl. development and definition of respective KPIs to track profitability targets by means of pre- and post-costing
  • Support in continuous alignment of country operations with mid-/long-term group strategy incl. preparation and compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting based on detailed and in-depth analysis of underlying financial data  


Qualifications and experience:

  • Degree qualified, or equivalent (business administration with a focus on operating and strategic controlling)
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role incl. superb process and project management skills  
  • Familiar and well-experienced with commercially driven strategic controlling tasks and measures incl. financial analysis/modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to achieve long-term commercial improvements by identifying yield potential and cost efficiencies  
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Fluent English language skills, other languages (Italian, French etc.) would be advantageous  
  • Former experience within commercial/strategic controlling ideally within PV/solar industry would be a plus  
  • Intercultural know-how and previous experience of working in an international business  
  • Familiar with MS Office and utilization of ERP systems, ideally Navision
  • Pro-active self-starter with hands-on, down-to-earth attitude and excellent team spirit
