Children’s Group
The public Kindergarten managed by the Uni-Kindergruppe [University Children’s Group] Association is located in the Lakeside Park building B02. There are currently 30 children ranging from age 1 through 4 who are cared for using state-of-the-art educational methods on a half-day (mornings or afternoons) or full-day basis.
Hours of operation:
Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed on holidays and during the summer for approx. 14 days.
Fees:
Half-day daycare € 146.00
Full-day daycare € 218.00
Membership fee € 10.00
Special rates apply for siblings and students (including teacher training college students) upon submission of an enrolment confirmation.

Children’s Advice Bureau
The Children’s Advice Bureau is an advisory and service facility provided by the Klagenfurt University for employees of the University and Lakeside Park. In addition to information and advice, the Children’s Advice Bureau provides flexible childcare by the hour for children ages 0 to 12 years.
Hours of operation:
Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

Fees:
Students or general employees of the University
1 child: € 2.00/hour - 2 children: € 3.50/hour
University scientific staff
1 child: € 3.00/hour - 2 children: € 5.50/hour
External persons (with no affiliation)
1 child: € 4.00/hour - 2 children: € 7.50/hour
Each additional child will be cared for at no extra charge.

Sunrise Kindergarten
The first English-language Kindergarten in Kärnten provides children the opportunity to experience the English language in an open, relaxed and playful atmosphere. The Kindergarten places great value on challenging the children developmentally yet they are not put under “pressure”. There are currently two groups with a maximum of 25 children each.
Hours of operation:
From September 1 to the middle of July
Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed on holidays.
Daycare during the summer months is also possible, subject to prior agreement
Fees:
Half-days (7:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.): € 168.00
Half-days (7:00 a.m. -2 p.m.): € 186.00
Full-day (7:00 a.m. -5 p.m.): € 234.00
Lunch: provided at € 2.90/meal
