CISC announces SyAD® 2010

CISC Semiconductor Design+Consulting GmbH announces its SyAD® 2010 release (www.cisc.at/SyAD) at “DAC 2010 - Design Automation Conference, Anaheim, CA” with new features that extend the platform now in its 3rd generation towards the requirements engineering domain.

Our target with SyAD® 2010 is to:

• eliminate the design flow gap between specification phase and implementation
• use automatically generated test benches from use cases
• simplify the verification phase by using the same test cases throughout all steps of the design AND for all views of the system

With SyAD® 2010 we have now managed to start simulation based design and verification of an embedded microelectronic system from specification level throughout its physical implementation. Beside traditional modeling and co-simulation with extensive model, data, system configuration and view management of the entire system SyAD® 2010 supports now also the automatic generation of SystemC based test benches out of use cases and provides with the SyAD Verification Plan Editor a module to prove if your requirements are met. New simulators have been included, the integration of software running on a CPU/µC as “software model in the loop” is now supported in various ways and - of course - the look & feel has been improved out of the experiences made and feedback we got from our previous releases. IP-Xact support has been integrated to ease exchange of models.

In short: being now in its 3rd generation after its initial release in 2004, SyAD® 2010 brings a lot of new features and benefits:
