What future image did you have in mind when you established this park?

Our intention was and continues to be, to build up a counterbalance to an annual loss in jobs in the classic industry and commercial branches in Carinthia. At the same time, resources which can lead to new jobs in areas of growth have been identified in Carinthia. The vision was to additionally compensate for the regression in the labour market through additional highly-qualified jobs.

Important factor for us was that  there are basically few paradigms for what is new, and what new is, before it comes to be, quite inconceivable. Lakeside Park has the goal, as a regional development project, to provide us with a window, showing just what innovative economies of the future will look like.
